Career session - A mode of contribution for career awareness in students. Keeping this in mind, We visited
JNV Mungeshpur, Delhi on 22 September, 2010 with below plan.
1. To get familiar with Navodaya family of JNV Mungeshpur, its location and introduce our various efforts for alumni
around the country
2. To know career related initiatives in school, Discussion with Principal and Teachers about alumni activities of school
3. Conduct a career session for senior students and resolve one to one queries of interested students

| Thanks for the route information given on website but it was longer
then expected journey to reach this place specially becuase of limited source of transportation. I tried to contact few
people from this JNV but they were unavailable or busy in their schedule for this sudden plan. I already convey my plan
to Navodaya Murali so he was ready for the move.

| We started at around 8 AM from different part of delhi and reached
their at 11:30 AM. Steping into the campus freshes our old memories but we were their with some mission today so without
wasting much time we interacted with teacher and Principal Medam and told them about our purpose of visit. They were
happy to know that so told the concerned person to make arrangement for career session. We decided to invite only 12th
class students because of limited time and resources.

We started the session with our introduction and purpose of visit. Murali initiated the interaction with his experiences
and motivate them to make best use of Navodaay resources. They have some good fun with him too. In presentation, I focused on
why they need to think about career, current trends, what is career, important things to keep in mind while selecting a career
etc. We have also shown our career booklet and given one soft copy of it. This helped student to realize the career importance and they were ready to spend quality time to explore different option
further so we asked for interested students to come forward to form a team to make it consistant affair and instantly we got
below name -

After lunch, We had one to one interaction for specific career related queries. Though there were only few students but they have
lot to discuss. It was good to know their thought process and interest to achieve towering heights in life. At last, We share the
details with Principal Madam and ask them to interact with alumni for such regular initiatives. We will appreciate your feedback
or suggestion thru our contact us section.
